-
Mozimul Haq Siddiqui bio mechanically dorsal surface is preferable than the medial or lateral surfaces. we have used thin plates to avoid irritation of tendons.

Mozimul Haq Siddiqui I think it will give a better rotational control of the fragments thereby better alignment of fingers.. I am not against k wiring but transverse fracture u can’t put cross k wires for rotational control…any suggestions..
-
Rajiv Maharjan What if you use 2 parellel k wires of smaller dia, no need for second surgery, irritation of the tendons, unsighty scar and sometimes infection too?
-
Mozimul Haq Siddiqui one disadvantage is there is 5 degrees lag of terminal extension of little ginger only.I hope it will get corrected with physio

Anil Choudhary group of orthopods who believe every # should be fixed.. at least leave some #s … this could have been well managed by closed reduction and volar slab….
-
Mozimul Haq Siddiqui sir it was managed conservatively for 2 weeks by volar functional slab by my fellow orthopedician. but pt reported to me with pain and deformity.
